This website was established, in 2001, as part of the assessment towards the Master of Special Education - Sensory Disability (Renwick College and the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia). It is based on an earlier publication, “Adaptive and Assistive (Access) Technology for Students with Vision Impairments”, which has been produced annually since 1990 by the staff of the Statewide Vision Resource Centre, (Department of Education & Training, Victoria, Australia).
