Statewide Vision Resource Centre

The Statewide Vision Resource Centre is a Department of Education & Training facility located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. The Statewide Vision Resource Centre supports approximately 500 eligible students with vision impairments in their local schools, throughout the state of Victoria, through the provision of:

Professional Development - see the SVRC annual program of Professional Development with downloadable fliers for each activity - all welcome!
Alternative Format Production and Lending Library - materials produced in braille and tactual format, audio tape, large print and e-text
Camps and Activities program - see some of the activities that have been hosted by the Statewide Vision Resource Centre
The Bulletin - fortnightly newsletter (email version available on request)

Website of Access Technology Options - products and support available for students with vision impairments - includes computer access (voice, enlargement, braille, scanning), calculators, curriculum support materials (dictionaries, e-texts, atlases, literacy tools etc), electronic magnification units (CCTVs) and more!
